High Seas - Vaction Bible School

Classes

Nursery - Birth to Age 1
We provide a safe, peaceful environment for our babies.  We have toys, rockers, music, and lots of love for our little ones!

Tots - Age 1 (or walkers) to Age 2-2½ (or potty trained)
Our Tots classroom provides a spacious area for our little ones to run, play, enjoy snacks, and story time.  They're introduced to elementary bible stories and given lots and lots of hugs!

Honeybees - Ages 2½ (or potty trained) to Age 3
Our Honeybee class is more structured with playtime, arts & crafts, snacks, story telling and music.  We currently use "Hands On Bible curriculum" and the children have take home pages reviewing what they learned in class.

Courageous Kids - Ages 4 to 5
Our Courageous Kids classes are geared for children who like activity and are ready to not only enjoy bible stories, but have the capacity for biblical principles.  The Courageous Kids curriculum focuses on establishing principles in a fun and meaningful way.  The children also enjoy snacks and play time.

JKC Jr. (Jubilee Kids Church) - Grades 1-2
Our JKC, Jr. students enjoy a working environment of bible study, crafts, snacks and worship.  Their curriculum is designed to instruct and prepare them for bringing out their faith in the school years.

JKC (Jubilee Kids Church - Grades 3-5
The JKC classes are geared to give the children a firm biblical foundation thru bible study, praise, worship, and arts & crafts, preparing them for their early teen years.  We strive to impart biblical principles and truths that will sustain them through their middle school and high school years.

Check-In System

We have a Fellowship One automated check-in system.  Parents are asked to bring in their children to the hallway adjacent to the lobby foyer.  Signs will be available to assist with direction.  At the check-in kiosk, children will be assigned a number and given a name tag to be attached to their clothing.  Each parent will receive their child's number on a small card to keep and use for the identification of their child at check-out.  From the check-in kiosk, parents are to take their child to the appropriate classroom and at the service end, check-out their children from the classroom.  It's very important to notify the staff at the check-in kiosk and the teachers in the classroom of any allergies your child may have.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know if my child is having a problem in the classroom?
If a parent is needed for comfort issues, behavioral issues, for any reason we have a screen in the main sanctuary where the child's number and classroom is displayed.  Should you see your child's number, please report immediately to your child's classroom. When does check-in end?
Check-in closes at 10:30am.  If you arrive after 10:30, we have an activity packet for your child and a "Kid's Corner" area where you can sit with your child and hear the service.

Can my child attend a class with an older or younger sibling?
We have workers to child service ratios that vary with each age group so it is our goal to have each child in the age appropriate class.

How do I get involved?
Jubilee encourages both members and parents to partner with us in the Children's Ministry by volunteering to serve one Sunday a month.  If you have any questions or would like more info, we would love to talk to you.  Please call 541-689-4105 or click "Contact Us" for more information.
